We started the day with a worship service where we packed in our hearts the first and most important "item" that we will take to the mission trip: the Gospel.
Then we had some fun activities to find our mission buddy and teams
Once we got into our teams, we bonded through accomplishing "challenging" tasks together!
During lunch, we came up with team names and cheers that we will be using throughout the mission trip.
Let's go teams!
In the afternoon, we had team times where we prepared for the mission trip: VBS praise/skits/carnival/deco, Youth sg/activities, village outreach, etc.
In the evening, we finished our training by worshipping God and remembering why we are going on this mission trip.
P Sam preached on being servants of the Gospel and we had a time of falling on our knees and surrendering our lives to God as servants of Christ.
Let's go New Mexico Mission Team! Woohoo!
On June 19, 2017, ICY and Logos had an all-day training for the upcoming New Mexico Mission Trip.
